Andrea Bowen (born Andrea Bowen) is an American actor. Her acting career began by appearing in Broadway programs like Les Miserables, The Sound of Music and The Sound of Music. She was first cast as the role of Julie Mayer in the ABC comedy drama series Desperate Housewives. This role was played regularly until in 2008. Julie Alexandra Mayer, the oldest child from Susan Delfino & Karl Mayer. Julie was Susan's favourite daughter as she grew older. Julie was often seen as her partner when it came to cooking and cleaning for Susan. Julie even provided tips for dating Susan.
